BOOKS
Floriography | A great resource for botanicals! Not only does it have stunning illustrations, but it also has information about the meanings and origins of different botanicals, which is fascinating in itself!
The Book of Flowers | Another wonderful botanical resource! The botanical illustrations in this book portray more of a scientific approach, for lack of better words. The detail is stunning and the accuracy of the anatomy of these botanicals is absolutely incredible. It also provides the scientific names for each as well, which I find very informative and helpful when it comes to researching particular blooms!
Monet: The Triumph of Impressionism by Daniel Wildenstein | Claude Monet, my absolute favorite artist of all time! This book is not only beautiful, but full of inspiration + knowledge!

Flower Color Guide | One of my favorite resources to reference while painting botanicals with an accuracy of colors!
The Botanical Bible | This books is STUNNING and such an inspiring book to have in the studio + in your home in general, as it has so much knowledge to offer. Plus, I love learning about my painting subjects just as much as I love painting them!
Botanical Art Techniques | I love this book and still use it whenever I feel the need to brush up or learn a new illustration technique. If you want to learn or enhance your illustration skills, or simply just practice for fun, this book is for you! In this book you'll find tips + skills for watercolor, graphite, colored pencil, oils, pen + ink, and more! (The inspiring botanical art inside is a nice bonus too!)
The Graphic Artists Guild Handbook | This is another invaluable resource to have as an artist and designer. I reference this whenever dabble in art licensing or commissions! (But it has SO MUCH MORE to offer!)
